Out of nowhere she started leaking diarrhea from her butt and is acting weird like she has no energy and can’t poop

It sounds like your Goldendoodle is having some digestive issues, which can be quite concerning, especially with the added symptoms of lethargy and difficulty in passing stools. Diarrhea can result from various causes, such as dietary indiscretions, stress, or mild infections. Since the diarrhea is brown and not bloody or black, it might not be immediately alarming, but the lethargy and inability to poop are signs that should be monitored closely.
Here are a few steps you can take at home to help her feel better:
Firstly, consider managing her diet by temporarily withholding food for 12 to 24 hours. This will give her digestive system a chance to rest. However, it's crucial to ensure she has access to fresh water during this time to prevent dehydration.
After the fasting period, you can introduce a bland diet, such as boiled chicken and rice, in small, frequent meals. If her condition improves, you can gradually reintroduce her regular diet over a few days.
Keeping her hydrated is also important. If she seems dehydrated, you might consider offering an electrolyte solution made specifically for pets.
It's essential to monitor her behavior closely. Keep an eye on her energy levels and any changes in behavior. If she continues to act lethargic or if the diarrhea persists beyond a day or two, it would be wise to seek veterinary care.
Additionally, observe for any new symptoms like vomiting, blood in the stool, or worsening lethargy, which would require immediate veterinary attention.
Given that the diarrhea is episodic and she is experiencing behavioral changes, if her condition doesn't improve or worsens, it would be best to consult a veterinarian to rule out any underlying issues. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
