We came home from school/work, and usually milo barks when we walk in but today he didnt. I looked in his pen and there was vomit on his bed. When he sees us he would be happy and non stop bark excessively. When we lifted him from his bed we noticed that he had no energy and something was wrong. He looked exhausted and when we put him on the floor he was limping in his back leg. Besides he has been home alone all day in his playpen with food and water, and only been taken out this morning to go outside and he was perfectly fine. Now he is quiet, not barking at things he usually would, not running around like he usually would, in a blanket looking like he feels awful, and he is shaking. He will not drink water so we have to give it to him by syringe.

I'm sorry to hear that Milo isn't feeling well. The symptoms you're describing—low energy, limping, vomiting, whimpering, and not drinking water—are concerning, especially given the sudden change in behavior. These could indicate a range of issues, such as an injury, ingestion of something toxic, or an underlying illness.

Given the severity and combination of symptoms, I strongly recommend taking Milo to a veterinarian as soon as possible. They can perform a thorough examination and possibly run tests to determine the cause and provide appropriate treatment.

In the meantime, keep Milo comfortable and continue offering water with a syringe to prevent dehydration. Avoid giving any food until you see the vet, as it might worsen his condition if there's an underlying issue with his stomach or intestines.

If you have any further questions please ask us. Thank you.
