He got neutered today and since he’s a stray and it’s supposed to snow I brought him inside and let him roam my bathroom. I don’t know if he freaked out and was jumping on things but where is ballsack used to be was bleeding, he’s not licking it or anything. I don’t know if it was a lot of blood because he was moving around or what but i’m worried

I understand your concern about your cat's condition following his neutering surgery, especially with some bleeding at the surgical site. It's not uncommon for some bleeding to occur, particularly if your cat is very active, as movement can sometimes disrupt the healing process. It's a positive sign that he's not licking the area, as excessive licking can lead to irritation or even infection.
To help manage the situation, there are a few steps you can take. First, try to limit your cat's activity by keeping him calm and quiet. Confining him to a small, safe space where he can't jump or climb can help prevent further bleeding. It's also important to monitor the surgical site closely. While a small amount of bleeding or spotting can be normal, continuous bleeding or a large amount of blood may require attention.
Additionally, check the incision for any signs of swelling, redness, or discharge, as these could indicate an infection. If you notice any of these signs, it would be wise to consult with a veterinarian. Avoid bathing your cat or applying any ointments or creams to the area unless specifically instructed by a veterinarian.
Given the snowy weather, ensure your cat is warm and comfortable indoors. Providing a cozy bed or blanket for him to rest on can help with his recovery.
If the bleeding persists or you observe any other concerning symptoms, such as lethargy or loss of appetite, I recommend contacting the veterinarian who performed the surgery for further advice. They can offer guidance on whether any additional care is needed.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions. Thank you for taking such good care of your cat.
