Lethargy
Loss of appetite
Stinky breath
Inappropriate urination

She is very old. She has arthritis in her back hips. She has had a hard time moving as if she’s not strong enough. Since she has a hard time moving she can barely get to her food and water. Her right eye seems to be bulging a little bit and she won’t close it. I put eye drops to try and help. She hasn’t pooped lately that I’ve noticed.

I'm really sorry to hear about your cat's condition.

Firstly, arthritis is quite common in older cats and can make movement painful and difficult. This decreased activity might be why she's having trouble reaching her food and water. To help her, you could try placing her food and water dishes closer to her resting area, making it easier for her to access them.

Another possibility is constipation, which is also common in older cats. If she's not pooping, it could be a sign of this issue. Ensuring she stays hydrated is crucial, as dehydration can worsen constipation. You might consider adding a bit of canned pumpkin to her food, as it can help with bowel movements. However, if she hasn't pooped in several days, it's important to get her checked by a vet.

Regarding her eye, the bulging and inability to close it could indicate an infection, glaucoma, or another serious eye condition. Eye problems in cats often require prompt veterinary attention to prevent further complications.

Additionally, the lethargy, loss of appetite, and stinky breath could be signs of underlying health issues such as kidney disease, dental problems, or other systemic illnesses common in senior cats.

Given the combination of symptoms and her advanced age, I strongly recommend taking her to a veterinarian as soon as possible. They can provide a thorough examination and appropriate treatment to address her various health concerns.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
