He was nuetered yesterday morning, and over the night he somehow slipped off his e-collar & his incision is now red.

It's quite common for dogs to become curious about their incisions after surgery, and the redness you're noticing might be due to irritation from licking or rubbing. Here are some steps you can take to help manage the situation:
Firstly, make sure the E-collar is properly secured to prevent your dog from licking or biting at the incision site. You might need to adjust it to ensure it fits snugly.
Next, keep a close eye on the incision for any signs of infection, such as swelling, discharge, or increased redness.
It's also important to keep the area clean. If your veterinarian has recommended it, gently clean the incision with a mild antiseptic solution. However, avoid using hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, as these can actually delay the healing process.
Additionally, try to keep your dog calm and limit their physical activity to prevent any stress on the incision.
If the redness continues or you observe any signs of infection, it would be best to contact your veterinarian. They may want to examine the incision to ensure it's healing properly.
Please feel free to reach out if you have any more questions. Thank you.
