Normally my dog sleeps stretched out but tonight he’s sleeping curled up. He seemed fine today but does this mean he’s in pain? Or is he just comfortable sleeping curled up. This is how he’s sleeping

It's quite normal for dogs to change their sleeping positions from time to time. Much like humans, they may find different positions comfortable at different moments. For instance, sleeping curled up can often indicate that your dog feels secure and is trying to stay warm, especially if the environment is a bit cooler.

However, if you observe any additional signs that might suggest discomfort or pain—such as whining, reluctance to move, limping, or noticeable changes in behavior—it would be wise to monitor your dog more closely. Given that you mentioned he seemed fine today, it's likely that he's simply found a cozy sleeping position for tonight.

If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Thank you.
