Vomiting
Loss of appetite

She’s been throwing up all day, it looks like mucus. I haven’t noticed blood until the last time she threw up. It’s a very small amount so may just be from her throwing up so much

I'm truly sorry to hear that your kitten is experiencing these troubling symptoms. Vomiting multiple times a day, particularly with the presence of blood, is indeed very concerning. Given her young age and the symptoms you've described, there are several potential causes, such as gastrointestinal infections, ingestion of a foreign object, or a reaction to the powder supplement she's on.

While you prepare to visit the veterinarian, there are a few steps you can take at home:

First, it might be helpful to temporarily withhold food and water for a few hours. This can give her stomach a chance to rest and may reduce the frequency of vomiting.

Next, it's important to monitor her for signs of dehydration. You can do this by checking her gums to ensure they are moist and pink. If her gums appear dry or pale, she may be dehydrated.

Additionally, make sure she has a quiet and comfortable place to rest, away from any stressors.

However, given the severity of her symptoms, especially the presence of blood in her vomit and her loss of appetite, it is crucial to get her to a veterinarian as soon as possible. These symptoms could indicate a serious underlying condition that requires immediate attention. The vet will likely perform a thorough examination, which may include blood tests and imaging, to determine the cause and appropriate treatment.

Please take her to the vet immediately to ensure she receives the care she needs. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Thank you.
