Fran has always had leaky eyes and stuffy nose since birth. Recently she's not alert, lost weight, her mouth under nose is white her gums are white, has white yellowish fluid draining out her mouth. Lays in puddle of water and don't care. Doesn't like me to hold her very long.
Fran's symptoms are indeed quite concerning, especially with the combination of lethargy, weight loss, white gums, and yellowish fluid draining from her mouth. These signs could indicate a serious underlying condition such as anemia, infection, or organ dysfunction.
The presence of white gums and lethargy suggests that Fran might be anemic, which can result from various factors including parasites, chronic disease, or a severe infection. The yellowish fluid could indicate a dental issue or an infection in the mouth or respiratory tract.
Given the severity of her symptoms, it's crucial to ensure she stays hydrated. If she isn't drinking on her own, you can try offering her water using a syringe.
However, due to the combination of symptoms and the fact that they have been ongoing for several days, I strongly recommend seeking immediate veterinary care. The white gums and lethargy are particularly urgent signs that require professional attention to diagnose and treat the underlying cause.
