2 days ago my pup jumped and hit his leg and had a noticeable limp and swelling but since then the limping has gotten better almost gone and the swelling is all gone the only problem now is he's walking/ troting at an angle and sort of falling.

It sounds like your pup had quite a tumble! While it's reassuring that the limping and swelling have improved, his walking or trotting at an angle and occasional falling are concerning. These symptoms could suggest an underlying issue, such as a sprain, strain, or even a minor fracture that hasn't fully healed. Additionally, if his balance is affected, it could indicate a neurological problem.
In the meantime, here are a few steps you can take at home to help him recover:
1. Ensure he gets plenty of rest and avoid any strenuous activities or jumping.
2. Keep him in a confined space to limit his movement and prevent further injury.
3. Monitor his walking and note any changes or improvements.
However, given that he's still walking at an angle and falling, it would be best to have him checked by a veterinarian. They can perform a thorough examination and possibly take X-rays to ensure there isn't a more serious issue that needs addressing. Early intervention can prevent potential complications and ensure your pup heals properly.
If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
also I might just be being over observativebut he also kinda shakes his head almost like excitement shake is this normal ?

It's completely understandable to be observant, especially with a young pup. Head shaking in dogs can sometimes be a sign of excitement, but it can also indicate other issues, particularly with the ears.
Common causes include ear infections, ear mites, or even something as simple as water or debris in the ear.
First, check his ears for any signs of redness, swelling, discharge, or an unusual odor. These can be indicators of an ear infection. If you notice any debris or wax, you can gently clean the outer part of the ear with a damp cloth, but avoid inserting anything into the ear canal.
And it's not likely, but it could be Ataxia, nerve, or brain related issues.
If Shadow's symptoms persist or worsen, I recommend taking him to the vet for tests to determine the exact cause.
