Started this morning and seemed to be needing something but already had breakfast and a walk. Very quiet and won’t jump up onto the couch or bed and is now shaking and looks very tired.

It sounds like your Cavalier King Charles Spaniel might be experiencing some discomfort, which could stem from various causes. Her shaking, reluctance to jump onto furniture, and unusually quiet demeanor may suggest she's in pain or feeling unwell. This could potentially be related to joint or muscle issues, especially if she's not engaging in her usual activities.

At home, there are a few steps you can take to help her:

Firstly, make sure she has a comfortable and quiet place to rest. It's best to avoid encouraging her to jump or participate in any strenuous activities until she seems more like herself.

Next, keep an eye out for any additional symptoms, such as limping, swelling, or changes in her appetite or bathroom habits. These could provide further clues about what might be going on.

You might also want to gently check her body for any signs of injury or tenderness. However, please be cautious and stop if she appears to be in pain.

Additionally, ensure she's not too cold, as shaking can sometimes be a response to being chilly.

Given that these symptoms appeared suddenly and she's showing signs of unusual tiredness, it's important to monitor her closely. If she doesn't improve or if her symptoms worsen, I recommend consulting with a veterinarian to rule out any underlying health issues.

If you have any further questions or need additional guidance, please feel free to reach out. Thank you.
