It sounds like your Siamese cat is experiencing some concerning symptoms, such as lethargy and a loss of appetite, which could be due to various factors like stress, dietary changes, or underlying health issues. Given that this has been going on for five days and is accompanied by weight loss, it's crucial to keep a close eye on him.

To help address these issues, you might want to try offering a variety of foods, including wet food or different flavors, to see if that encourages him to eat. It's also important to ensure he's drinking enough water, as dehydration can contribute to lethargy.

Creating a stress-free environment is essential, as changes in the household can sometimes affect a cat's behavior. Additionally, watch for any other symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, or changes in urination, as these could indicate a more serious problem.

Since you've mentioned concerns about his eyes, check for any discharge or redness, which might require veterinary attention.

If his condition doesn't improve or worsens, I recommend consulting a veterinarian. They can perform a thorough examination and possibly run tests to determine the underlying cause. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

I’ve tried 2 different brands of hard food, and his original diet as a kitten because he was an underweight baby when we got him so I switched him to the wet adult version of the brand of wet kitten food he ate when we first got him and he won’t eat that either. He drinks plenty of water. Throughout the day he will take a few bites of food and then stop eating. He doesn’t have much energy which is my main concern.

The lack of energy and minimal eating can be concerning, especially since he's losing weight. Here are a few things you might consider:

Firstly, you might try warming his wet food slightly. This can often make it more appealing by enhancing the aroma, which might encourage him to eat. Additionally, offering food by hand can sometimes motivate pets to eat more, as it provides a comforting and encouraging interaction.

It's important to monitor him for any other symptoms, such as vomiting, diarrhea, or changes in behavior, as these could indicate other underlying issues. Also, try to ensure his environment is calm and free from stressors that might be affecting his appetite.

If his symptoms persist or worsen, consider taking him to the hospital to determine the exact condition and cause.
