It sounds like your dog is exhibiting some unusual behavior, particularly with the burying of food and the sudden loss of appetite. Given her age and the symptoms you've described, there are a few things we should consider.

Firstly, the burying of food can be a natural instinct in dogs, often related to their ancestral behavior of hiding food for later consumption. However, when this behavior is combined with a loss of appetite, vomiting, and itching, it could indicate an underlying issue.

Here are some possible causes and steps you can take at home:

**Stress or Anxiety:** Changes in the environment or routine can sometimes cause stress or anxiety in dogs, leading to changes in behavior and appetite. Try to maintain a consistent routine and provide a calm environment for her.

**Gastrointestinal Issues:** Vomiting and loss of appetite can be signs of gastrointestinal problems. Make sure she has access to fresh water to stay hydrated. You might also try offering bland food like boiled chicken and rice to see if she will eat that.

**Allergies or Skin Irritations:** The itching could be due to allergies or skin irritations. Check her skin for any signs of redness, rashes, or fleas. Regular grooming and a hypoallergenic diet might help alleviate these symptoms.

**Dental Issues:** Sometimes, dental pain can cause dogs to avoid eating. Check her mouth for any signs of dental problems such as swollen gums or broken teeth.

Since she is still drinking water and playing, it’s a good sign that she’s not severely ill. However, the combination of symptoms and the fact that this has been ongoing for a couple of days suggests that it would be wise to monitor her closely. If the vomiting persists, or if she shows signs of lethargy, dehydration, or any other concerning symptoms, it would be best to consult a veterinarian to rule out any serious conditions.

If you have any further questions or need additional advice, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
