Vomiting
Eye
Lethargy
Loss of appetite

He has been throwing up yellow clearish liquid many times a day and not eating anything (wet food nor dry food) and refusing to drink water. This has been happening for the last 2 days. He is not as active as usual, he’s just laying or sitting down and hasn’t been playing at all. I tried to give him some water a few times with a medical syringe, but after some time he throws up with the yellow liquid again, sometimes a few minutes after. The whites of his eyes are also much redder compared to his sibling cat who is not having any symptoms. Something I noticed before when they were eating normally is that between him and his brother (born on the same day), his brother is much chunkier, maybe even a little overweight compared to Katkoot.

These signs can be quite concerning and may indicate an underlying health issue that requires prompt attention.

The yellow liquid your cat is vomiting is likely bile, which often occurs when the stomach is empty. Coupled with the refusal to eat or drink, this suggests that your cat might be dealing with a gastrointestinal issue, an infection, or another serious condition.

Persistent vomiting can cause dehydration. To prevent this, change the water frequently, and place the water in several places. Adding a very small amount of sugar to the water may also help.

And, even if cats do not eat for at least 48 hours, they will develop fatal liver damage (hepatic lipidosis). So, if your cat hasn't eaten in two days, it's important to re-establish his appetite, but veterinarian treatment must be done for the two days of anorexia. As a result, please take him to the veterinarian as soon as possible. You should also think about going to an emergency room.

Given the severity and persistence of the symptoms, especially the lethargy and refusal to eat or drink, it is important to seek veterinary care as soon as possible.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
