I'm really sorry to hear that Chip is going through this. Based on the symptoms and history you've shared, there are several potential concerns we need to address.

The presence of bloody or black diarrhea is particularly alarming, as it can indicate gastrointestinal bleeding. This could be due to various reasons, including infections, parasites, or even a reaction to toxins. Given Chip's history of poisoning and the administration of activated charcoal, his gastrointestinal system might still be in recovery, adding another layer of complexity to his condition.

The itching and presence of fleas suggest that Chip might be suffering from flea allergy dermatitis or another skin condition. This could be contributing to his overall discomfort and potentially affecting his immune system.

For home care, it's crucial to ensure that Chip stays hydrated, as diarrhea can lead to dehydration. Offering him plenty of fresh water is essential. You might also consider giving him a bland diet, such as boiled chicken and rice, to help soothe his stomach. However, given the severity of his symptoms and his history of poisoning, it's imperative to get him to a veterinarian as soon as possible.

The combination of bloody diarrhea, a history of poisoning, and ongoing symptoms like itching and fleas indicates that Chip needs professional medical attention to rule out any serious underlying conditions and to receive appropriate treatment.

Please take Chip to a veterinarian immediately to ensure he gets the care he needs. If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you.
