Scabbing and hair loss can be symptoms of skin infections, either bacterial or fungal. These infections can cause irritation, leading to scratching and further damage to the skin barrier. Sticky skin often suggests a possible discharge, which is common with infections or allergic reactions.

The anal area being affected could point towards anal gland issues. Dogs have two small glands on either side of their anus that can become impacted or infected, leading to discomfort and skin problems in that region.
