We went to the vet this morning they gave her an anti diarrhea, vomiting, anti-inflammatory and an intestinal antibiotic. She also received fluids and they told me to contact them if she started throwing up, but they were closed by the time she started throwing up as it wasn’t till about 7 o’clock tonight that she started throwing up and she saw the vet at 12 o’clock. She perked up a lot after seeing the IV fluids and now has gone back to being very sleepy and lethargic

It sounds like your puppy is going through some troubling symptoms, especially considering her young age. The combination of vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and loss of appetite can be indicative of a serious condition, such as a viral infection like parvovirus. This is quite common in puppies and can be life-threatening if not addressed promptly.

It's encouraging that she showed some improvement after receiving IV fluids, but her return to lethargy and vomiting is certainly concerning. Given that your regular vet is closed, I strongly recommend seeking immediate care at an emergency veterinary clinic. Puppies can become dehydrated very quickly, and the symptoms she's experiencing need urgent attention.

While you prepare to take her to the clinic, make sure she stays warm and comfortable. It's best to avoid giving her any food or water until a veterinarian advises you, as this could potentially worsen her symptoms. Getting her evaluated as soon as possible is crucial to identifying the underlying cause and starting the appropriate treatment.

If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out. Thank you.
