It's completely understandable to be concerned when your puppy is making unusual noises, especially at such a young age. Given that she is only 2 months old, there are a few possibilities to consider:

Firstly, puppies often get hiccups, which can sound like a repetitive noise. This is usually harmless and often occurs after they eat or drink too quickly. Another possibility is reverse sneezing, which can sound alarming but is generally harmless. This happens when the dog rapidly pulls air in through the nose, often due to excitement, eating, or drinking.

Additionally, minor throat irritation can sometimes cause unusual noises. This can result from chewing on various objects or environmental factors.

Since she drinks water when you offer it, it doesn't seem to be causing her distress. However, it's important to keep an eye on her for any other symptoms such as coughing, difficulty breathing, lethargy, or changes in appetite. If you notice any of these signs, it would be best to consult a veterinarian.

For now, continue to monitor her closely. If the noise persists or you observe any other concerning symptoms, seeking professional advice would be a prudent step.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
