It’s just really lazy lethargic and literally we were sleeping and I got up to start my day and he went and puked. It was spit with a little bit of blood in it and I know it was blood because I smelt it because I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

The symptoms you're describing in your dog, such as vomiting with blood and lethargy, especially with a history of toxic ingestion, are indeed concerning and could indicate a serious condition. Blood in the vomit can suggest gastrointestinal irritation or bleeding, which might result from ingesting a toxic substance, a foreign object, or an underlying medical issue.

Given these symptoms, it's crucial to seek immediate veterinary care. Your veterinarian will conduct a thorough examination and may recommend diagnostic tests, such as blood work or imaging, to identify the underlying cause and provide the appropriate treatment.

In the meantime, make sure your dog has access to fresh water, but refrain from giving any food until you've spoken with a veterinarian, as this could worsen the condition. Keep your dog calm and comfortable, and try to observe any other symptoms or changes in behavior that might assist the veterinarian in their assessment.

Please visit a veterinarian as soon as possible to ensure your dog receives the necessary care. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Thank you.
