Finding blood in Rocky's stool can indeed be concerning, as it may point to a variety of issues, ranging from minor to more serious conditions. These could include dietary indiscretion, parasites, infections, or even more severe problems like gastrointestinal bleeding or a foreign body obstruction.

Since Rocky has been experiencing this for two days, it's crucial to keep a close eye on his overall condition. Look out for any additional symptoms such as vomiting, lethargy, loss of appetite, or abdominal pain, as these could suggest a more serious underlying issue.

At home, it's important to ensure Rocky stays well-hydrated, as blood loss can lead to dehydration. You might consider withholding food for 12-24 hours to see if his condition improves, and then gradually reintroduce a bland diet, such as boiled chicken and rice. However, given that the presence of blood in his stool has persisted for a couple of days, it's essential to seek veterinary care promptly. A veterinarian will be able to conduct the necessary tests to determine the cause and provide the appropriate treatment.

I strongly recommend visiting a veterinarian as soon as possible to ensure Rocky receives the care he needs. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

First, make sure he has plenty of fresh water available to prevent dehydration, especially if he's losing fluids. You might also consider offering him a bland diet, like boiled chicken and rice, served in small, frequent meals.

Additionally, try to keep Rocky calm and comfortable by avoiding any strenuous activities that could further stress his system. Ensure he has a quiet place to rest and recover.
