It's wonderful to hear that your puppy is eating and drinking well, and that his breathing appears normal. However, I understand your concern when a usually active puppy prefers to sleep and isn't showing much interest in play. At this young age, it's typical for puppies to sleep a lot, but they should also have moments of energy and playfulness.

There are a few things you might want to consider:

Firstly, it's important to remember that puppies, especially those around one month old, need a lot of sleep for their growth and development. It's quite normal for them to sleep up to 18-20 hours a day.

Next, take a look at the environment your puppy is in. Ensure that it's comfortable and that the temperature is just right—not too hot or too cold—as extreme temperatures can impact a puppy's energy levels.

Also, make sure your puppy is receiving a balanced diet that's appropriate for his age. High-quality puppy food is crucial for providing the energy and nutrients needed for growth.

Keep an eye out for any other symptoms such as coughing, sneezing, diarrhea, or vomiting. These could be signs of an underlying issue that might need attention.

Encouraging gentle socialization and play can also help stimulate activity. Try engaging him with soft toys or through gentle interaction.

Since your puppy is very young and hasn't started vaccinations yet, it's essential to keep him in a safe and clean environment to prevent exposure to diseases. If you notice any changes in his eating, drinking, or breathing, or if he continues to be lethargic and uninterested in play, it would be wise to consult a veterinarian to rule out any health concerns.

If you have any further questions or need more information, please feel free to ask. Thank you!

First, I would like to apologize for not responding to your question sooner.

Firstly, dehydration or low blood sugar could be a factor. Puppies can become dehydrated or have low blood sugar quite quickly, especially if they aren't eating or drinking properly. Make sure he has access to fresh water at all times, and try offering him small amounts of a bland diet, such as boiled chicken and rice, to see if he can keep it down.

Another possibility is infections or parasites. At this young age, puppies are particularly susceptible to these, which can cause symptoms like vomiting and lethargy. Since he hasn't been vaccinated yet, it's crucial to monitor him closely for any signs of illness.

Given the symptoms you're describing, especially the dizziness and vomiting, it's important to seek veterinary care as soon as possible. These symptoms can escalate quickly in young puppies, and a veterinarian can provide the necessary examination and treatment to ensure he recovers well.
