It sounds like Chico might be experiencing some discomfort, which is not uncommon in older dogs. Since he doesn't seem to be in pain when you touch his leg, it could be due to a mild strain, muscle weakness, or possibly arthritis, which is quite common in senior dogs. The fact that he's not putting weight on his front right leg suggests he might be compensating for some discomfort or weakness.

At home, there are a few steps you can take to help Chico:

Firstly, try to limit his activity for a few days. This means avoiding long walks or running, and encouraging him to rest to prevent further strain. It's also important to observe any changes in his behavior or the condition of his leg. Keep an eye out for swelling, redness, or any signs of pain when he moves.

Make sure Chico has a soft, comfortable place to rest, as this can help alleviate any discomfort he might be feeling. Additionally, applying a warm compress to the affected leg can help soothe any muscle tension or mild discomfort.

If Chico's limping persists for more than a few days, or if you notice any worsening symptoms such as swelling, increased pain, or changes in his behavior, it would be wise to consult a veterinarian. They can perform a thorough examination and may recommend imaging, like an X-ray, to rule out any underlying issues.

Please feel free to reach out if you have any further questions. Thank you for taking such good care of Chico.
