I understand that you're concerned about Tutu's condition, and I'm sorry to hear that.

Given the sudden appearance of a hole, this could potentially be an abscess that has ruptured or a severe skin infection. Other possibilities include a reaction to an insect bite or sting, or self-trauma due to intense itching possibly caused by allergies or parasites. Please understand that it is difficult to tell the exact condition and cause of Tutu's condition from photos and videos.

It's important to prevent your dog from licking or biting the wound, so using an Elizabethan collar (cone) would be advisable to allow the area to heal without further irritation.

To address the itching, you can give your dog an oatmeal bath to soothe the skin. Make sure the water is lukewarm and not hot, as hot water can increase irritation.

If the wound is large, deep, or shows signs of infection such as pus, increased redness, or a foul odor, it's crucial to seek professional care immediately. In the meantime, keep the area clean and monitor for any changes.

If Tutu's symptoms persist or worsen, I recommend taking him to the clinic to determine the exact cause and treat accordingly.
