She’s been doing it for a while and I’m not sure why

It sounds like you've noticed some behavior in your cat that you're curious about. When the concern level is low, it might simply be a minor issue or even a normal behavior. Cats often display actions that can seem puzzling, such as excessive grooming, chasing invisible objects, or having sudden bursts of energy.
If your cat is showing behavior that appears unusual but isn't causing her any distress or harm, it might just be part of her playful nature or a way for her to express herself. However, if you observe any signs of discomfort, like excessive scratching, licking, or vocalizing, it would be wise to monitor her for any changes.
Keep an eye out for additional symptoms or changes in her behavior. As long as she seems happy, is eating well, and is using the litter box normally, it's likely nothing to worry about. However, if you notice any new symptoms or if the behavior persists and becomes concerning, please feel free to reach out for more specific advice.
If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask. Thank you!
