It sounds like your dog is experiencing some discomfort or lethargy, which can be concerning, especially given her age. There are a few possibilities for this behavior, such as gastrointestinal upset, joint pain, or even a more serious underlying condition.
First, observe her stool for any abnormalities like blood, mucus, or an unusual color, as these can provide clues about her digestive health. Ensure she has access to fresh water to prevent dehydration, especially if she’s having frequent bowel movements.
Since she's not willing to get up or go outside, consider checking her for any signs of pain or discomfort, such as limping or sensitivity when you touch certain areas. If she seems to be in pain, you might want to make her comfortable with a soft bed and encourage rest.
Monitor her closely for any additional symptoms such as vomiting, changes in appetite, or continued lethargy. If her condition doesn't improve or if you notice any worsening symptoms, it would be wise to consult a veterinarian to rule out any serious issues.
