It sounds like your cat has developed some concerning skin issues on her hind legs. The presence of holes in the skin can be due to several reasons, including abscesses, infections, or even trauma such as bites or scratches.

For now, you can try to keep the area clean and dry. Gently clean the wounds with a saline solution (you can make this at home by mixing 1 teaspoon of salt in a cup of boiled, cooled water). Avoid using hydrogen peroxide or alcohol as these can be too harsh and delay healing.

Given that the issue has appeared suddenly and involves multiple holes, it’s important to monitor for signs of infection such as swelling, redness, discharge, or a foul odor. If you notice any of these signs or if the condition worsens, it would be best to have her seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible. They can provide a thorough examination and appropriate treatment, which may include antibiotics or other medications.
