It sounds like your cat might be dealing with an upper respiratory infection, which is quite common in cats and can cause symptoms such as muffled meows, mucus buildup, and difficulty breathing.

First, ensure she stays well-hydrated. Offer her fresh water frequently and consider adding a bit of water to her wet food to increase her fluid intake.

Using a humidifier in the room where she spends most of her time can help to moisten the air and ease her breathing. Alternatively, you can take her into the bathroom while you run a hot shower to create a steam bath effect.

Make sure she continues to eat. Sometimes, warming her food slightly can make it more appealing and easier to smell, which can encourage her to eat.

Please keep an eye on her for other symptoms, such as loss of appetite, lethargy, or seizures.

Given her difficulty breathing and the potential for a serious condition, I strongly recommend taking her to a veterinarian as soon as possible. Respiratory issues can escalate quickly, and professional care is essential to ensure she gets the appropriate treatment.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
