It sounds like the red bump on your beagle's underbelly could be due to a variety of reasons, such as insect bites, allergic reactions, or minor skin infections. Since it has persisted for two days, there are a few steps you can take at home to address it.

First, gently clean the area with mild soap and water to help prevent any potential infection. Be sure to pat the area dry thoroughly afterward. Next, keep an eye on the bump for any changes in size, color, or if it starts to ooze. If it worsens or doesn't improve within a few days, it might require professional attention.

Additionally, try to prevent your dog from scratching or licking the area, as this can lead to further irritation or infection. You might consider using an Elizabethan collar (cone) if she continues to lick it. You can also apply a small amount of over-the-counter antibiotic ointment to the bump to help prevent infection, but make sure your dog does not lick it off.

If the bump grows, becomes more painful, or if your dog shows signs of distress, it would be best to consult a veterinarian to rule out any serious conditions.
