It sounds like Loona is experiencing a skin issue that has resulted in a scab breaking open, leaving a hole. This could be due to various reasons, such as an infection (bacterial, fungal, or parasitic), an allergic reaction, or even an infected wound.

Here are some steps you can take at home to help Loona:

Firstly, it's crucial to keep the affected area clean. Gently clean it with a mild antiseptic solution or saline solution to prevent further infection. Avoid using hydrogen peroxide or alcohol, as these can be too harsh on her skin.

If Loona is scratching the area, you might want to consider using an e-collar to prevent her from causing more damage.

Keep an eye out for signs of infection, such as increased redness, swelling, pus, or a foul odor. These symptoms could indicate that the infection is worsening.

It's important to avoid applying any human medications or ointments without consulting a veterinarian, as some can be toxic to cats.

Given that this issue has been ongoing for a week and now there's a hole, it would be best to have Loona seen by a veterinarian. They can perform a thorough examination, possibly including a skin scraping or biopsy, to determine the exact cause and prescribe the appropriate treatment.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you.
