Wally had dental surgery, a near full-extraction on Wednesday the 15th at 11am. He has not urinated since the surgery to my knowledge. I want to know when it is cause for concern.

It's completely understandable to be worried about Wally not urinating after his dental surgery, especially after such an extensive procedure like a near full-extraction. Monitoring his recovery is crucial, as not urinating for an extended period could indicate serious issues such as dehydration, pain, or even a urinary blockage, which can become life-threatening if not addressed quickly.
Since it's been over a day since Wally's surgery and he hasn't urinated, I strongly recommend contacting the veterinary hospital where the surgery was performed as soon as possible. They have the most comprehensive understanding of his medical history and can offer specific guidance tailored to his condition.
In the meantime, make sure Wally has access to fresh water and encourage him to drink. Offering wet food can also help increase his fluid intake. Keep an eye out for any other signs of discomfort, such as restlessness, vocalizing, or straining to urinate, and be sure to report these to the veterinarian.
Please reach out to the veterinary hospital immediately to discuss Wally's symptoms. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask. Thank you.
