Instead, offer your dog a small meal to dilute the stomach contents. Providing water to drink can also help with dilution. If the ingestion was recent, activated charcoal may be administered to absorb the toxins, but this should only be done under the guidance of a professional.

It's also important to monitor your dog closely for any signs of distress or unusual behavior. Symptoms such as excessive drooling, vomiting, difficulty breathing, lethargy, or a change in gum color can indicate a serious reaction to the toxins. If you notice any of these symptoms, or if your dog's condition seems to worsen, it's imperative to seek immediate veterinary care.
