She fell Out of my arms when she tried jumping into her cage and then not so hard bonked herself onto the desk and then fell To the carpeted flooring. She has been eating well right after and walking around fine. I tried petting her body to see if she squeals in pain but she is acting fine. I’m just really worried.

It’s completely understandable to be concerned when Toast has a fall. Fortunately, it sounds like she’s doing well so far, given that she’s eating, walking around normally, and not showing any signs of pain when you touch her. These are all positive indicators that she may not have sustained any serious injuries.

However, it’s crucial to keep an eye on her over the next few days for any delayed symptoms. Here are a few things to monitor:

Firstly, observe any changes in her behavior. If she becomes lethargic, less active, or starts hiding more than usual, these could be signs of discomfort or injury.

Secondly, keep an eye on her appetite and drinking habits. Any decrease in her eating or water intake could indicate a problem.

Thirdly, watch her mobility. Look for any signs of limping, difficulty moving, or reluctance to move.

Lastly, check for any physical signs such as swelling, bruising, or unusual lumps on her body. Also, gently palpate her body to see if she shows any signs of pain.

For now, it sounds like she’s doing well, but your vigilance is key. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.

I have just noticed that she has a small cut on her lip and she swishes her mouth a few times but she stopped now. Should I be worried about those things?

First of all, I'm sorry that I couldn't answer your question quickly.

It sounds like you're doing a great job keeping an eye on her. While a small cut on her lip and the occasional swishing of her mouth don't necessarily indicate a serious problem.

Continue to observe her behavior closely. If she starts swishing her mouth again or shows signs of discomfort, it could indicate that the cut is bothering her more than initially thought.

Hey this isn’t a question but I’ve monitored her nonstop making sure that’s she alright, and she has been acting completely normal and she’s been eating and running around hopping with her sister. I want to thank you for all the medical advice and now I know I can use this app in case something happens!
