My cat is currently in labor but acts as though she doesn't know what to do and hasn't done anything since her labor has started but lay there and has already delivered 2 kittens. What should I do?

It sounds like your cat might be having some difficulties with labor. Here are a few steps you can take to assist her:

First, make sure she is in a quiet, comfortable, and warm environment away from any disturbances. This will help her feel safe and more relaxed during this critical time.

Sometimes, gentle movement can be beneficial. Encourage her to change positions or gently massage her belly to help stimulate contractions.

It's important to closely monitor the situation. Keep an eye on her and the kittens. If she seems distressed, isn't making progress, or if you notice any unusual discharge, it's crucial to seek veterinary help immediately.

If a kitten appears to be stuck, you can gently assist by pulling it out slowly and carefully. Ensure your hands are clean or use latex gloves to avoid any infections.

Given that she has already delivered two kittens and seems unsure of what to do next, it's essential to get her to a veterinarian as soon as possible. They can provide the necessary assistance and ensure both the mother and kittens are healthy.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
