Vomiting
Diarrhea

I believe cowboy has eaten a dishwasher pod. He has thrown up twice and his diarrhea is watery. This happened around 3pm this afternoon.

Ingesting a dishwasher pod can indeed be quite dangerous for dogs due to the harmful chemicals they contain. The symptoms you're describing—vomiting and watery diarrhea—are concerning and could indicate irritation or poisoning from the pod.

Next, offer Cowboy small amounts of water frequently to help prevent dehydration. However, avoid giving him any food until you've consulted with a veterinarian.

Keep a close eye on Cowboy's behavior and symptoms. Note any changes, such as increased lethargy, difficulty breathing, or continued vomiting and diarrhea.

Given the ingestion of a potentially toxic substance and the symptoms you're observing, it is crucial to seek veterinary care immediately. The chemicals in dishwasher pods can cause significant gastrointestinal distress and other serious health issues.

Please take Cowboy to the nearest veterinary clinic or emergency animal hospital as soon as possible for a thorough evaluation and appropriate treatment.

If you have any further questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you.
