I'm sorry to hear about Cleeooo's eye issue.

This condition, which involves inflammation of the conjunctiva, can be triggered by various factors such as infections (either viral or bacterial), allergies, or even a foreign object in the eye.

First, you can gently clean her eye. Use a clean, damp cloth or sterile saline solution to carefully wipe away any discharge from around the eye.

Next, monitor her for any additional symptoms. Keep an eye on any changes in her behavior, appetite, or additional symptoms like sneezing or coughing, which could indicate a more systemic issue.

It's also important to keep her comfortable. Ensure she has a quiet, comfortable place to rest away from bright lights and other pets that might disturb her.

Additionally, make sure she doesn't scratch or rub her eye, as this can worsen the condition. You might need to use an Elizabethan collar (cone) if she keeps trying to touch her eye.

Given that the swelling and squinting have persisted for two days, it is important to have her examined by a veterinarian. They can perform a thorough eye examination, possibly run tests to determine the exact cause, and provide appropriate treatment, which might include antibiotics or anti-inflammatory medications. Eye issues can escalate quickly and may require specific treatments such as antibiotics or anti-inflammatory medications.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
