Yesterday I was cleaning out my cats litter box and noticed a tampon. I assumed one of them just dragged it in. Well this morning I woke up and found out that Ewok puked. It was a mixture of his food from last night & tampon pieces. I thought it was poop at first but definitely was vomit. He's been lethargic the last few hours. Hes spent the morning bundled up resting on the couch. He's sat up and drank for me but I'm worried because I'm broke until payday because rent just passed. Is there anything I can do at home for him?

It sounds like Ewok may have ingested part of a tampon, which is concerning due to the risk of obstruction in his digestive tract. The fact that he's vomiting and lethargic suggests he might be experiencing discomfort or even a blockage. Here are some steps you can take at home while keeping a close eye on his condition:

Firstly, it's important to ensure that Ewok stays hydrated. Encourage him to drink water, as dehydration can worsen his condition. You might try offering small amounts of water frequently to keep him hydrated.

In terms of diet, it's best to avoid feeding him solid food for now. If he seems hungry, you can offer a small amount of bland food like boiled chicken or plain rice, but only if he can keep it down without vomiting.

Please monitor his behavior closely. If he continues to vomit, becomes more lethargic, or shows signs of pain, such as hunching over or vocalizing, these are indications that he needs immediate veterinary attention.

Additionally, make sure that any other potential hazards, like tampons or other small objects, are out of his reach to prevent further ingestion.

Given the potential for a blockage, it's crucial to seek veterinary care as soon as possible. I understand that financial constraints can be challenging, but many veterinary clinics offer payment plans or emergency options. It's important to address this situation promptly to prevent any serious complications.

If you have any further questions or need additional guidance, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
