It sounds like your pug has a red ring with a small sore in the center on her underbelly, which could potentially be a reaction to a black fly bite. However, other causes such as an allergic reaction, a tick bite, or an infection are also possible. The symptoms of lethargy, loss of appetite, and feeling hot are particularly concerning and suggest that she might be experiencing some discomfort or a systemic reaction.

For now, you can try a few home care steps to help her:

First, gently clean the affected area with mild soap and water to prevent any potential infection. It's important to keep an eye on the sore for any changes in size, color, or discharge. If it worsens, it could indicate an infection. If your dog is scratching or licking the area, consider using an e-collar to prevent further irritation. Additionally, ensure she stays hydrated and comfortable, and offer her favorite foods to encourage eating.

Given her symptoms of lethargy and loss of appetite, it is crucial to consult a veterinarian as soon as possible. These symptoms, combined with the skin issue, could indicate a more serious underlying condition that needs professional attention. The vet can perform a thorough examination and possibly run tests to determine the exact cause and provide appropriate treatment.
