It sounds like your kitten is experiencing some significant skin issues, including hair loss, scabbing, and flaky skin. These symptoms can be caused by various conditions, such as fungal infections like ringworm, bacterial infections, or infestations by parasites such as fleas or mites.

Given the severity and the fact that these symptoms have been ongoing for three weeks, it's important to address this promptly. Here are some steps you can take at home, along with considerations for professional care:

First, you might want to try using a medicated shampoo designed specifically for cats. Shampoos containing chlorhexidine or miconazole can be effective against fungal and bacterial infections. Bathe your kitten twice a week, making sure to leave the shampoo on for 5-10 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

Since your kitten is not currently on any flea and tick prevention, consider starting her on a product like Advantage II or Revolution. These can help eliminate external parasites.

Ensure her living environment is clean and free of potential allergens. Regularly washing her bedding and vacuuming the areas she frequents can make a big difference.

Additionally, make sure she is well-hydrated and receiving a balanced diet to support her immune system.

However, given the extent of her symptoms and the potential for contagious conditions like ringworm, I strongly recommend taking her to a veterinarian for a thorough examination. The vet can perform diagnostic tests to determine the exact cause and prescribe appropriate treatments, such as antifungal medications or antibiotics if needed.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
