5 days ago I noticed it and today it' has gotten bad

My puppy's looks like he has hot spots but it can't be that because it's now making his skin look like his sin is trying to fall off around infected areas between his eyes and the top of his head

It sounds like your puppy is experiencing a severe skin infection, which could be due to bacteria, fungi, parasites, or even an allergic reaction. Based on the symptoms you've described and the photos you've provided, it appears that the condition has worsened over the past five days.

Here are a few steps you can take at home to help manage the situation until you can see a veterinarian:

Firstly, it's important to keep the affected area clean and dry. Gently clean it with a mild antiseptic solution or saline solution to prevent further infection, but avoid using harsh chemicals or soaps.

Secondly, to prevent your puppy from scratching or licking the affected area, which can worsen the condition, consider using an e-collar.

Additionally, applying a cold compress can help reduce swelling and provide some relief from discomfort.

Lastly, keep a close eye on the affected area for any changes, such as increased redness, swelling, or discharge, which could indicate a worsening infection.

Given the severity of the symptoms and the risk of the infection spreading or causing more significant health issues, I strongly recommend consulting a veterinarian as soon as possible. They can perform a thorough examination, possibly including skin scrapings or biopsies, to determine the exact cause and prescribe the appropriate treatment, such as antibiotics or antifungal medications.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
