It sounds like Oakley is experiencing significant discomfort. When a dog frequently shakes its head and scratches its ears, especially if the ears appear red, it often points to an ear infection or ear mites. The hair loss along her back could be related to a skin condition, potentially aggravated by the flea bath or the skunk spray.

For the time being, proper use of ear sanitizers available online or in stores is also beneficial to her ear hygiene. Be careful not to use cotton swabs deep in the ear canal, as this can cause further damage. If you notice any discharge or a foul odor, it is likely an infection, and she may require antibiotics or antifungal medication.

The hair loss and skin itching could stem from various causes, such as allergies, parasites, or a reaction to the skunk spray. Given that you used a flea bath and Dawn dish soap, her skin might be irritated from these treatments.

Considering the combination of symptoms and the redness in her ears, it is crucial to monitor her closely. If her condition does not improve within the next day or two, or if it worsens, it would be best to take her to a veterinarian.
