Ranger has a big flap of skin just hanging from his chest area. He doesn’t act as if it bothers him, but it just started to look like that a few days ago, along with his right lymph node being swollen which has went away since then.

It sounds like Ranger has been experiencing some changes with his skin, including a swollen lymph node that has thankfully resolved. The loose, flappy skin on his chest could be attributed to a few factors, such as weight fluctuations, changes in skin elasticity, or perhaps a mild reaction to the recent flea infestation or its treatment. The fact that the lymph node swelling has gone down suggests that his body might have been responding to an infection or irritation, possibly related to the fleas.

For the scabbing and loose skin, it's important to keep an eye on the area for any signs of redness, increased swelling, or discomfort. Make sure Ranger is current with his flea treatments, as fleas can lead to skin irritation and secondary infections. You might consider gently cleaning the affected skin with a mild antiseptic solution to help prevent any potential infection from the scabs.

If the loose skin continues or you observe any new symptoms, it would be a good idea to have Ranger examined by a veterinarian to rule out any underlying conditions. Also, monitor his overall behavior and appetite, as changes in these areas can signal if something more serious is occurring.
