Gizmo has had a regurgitation issue for a while and every time he regurgitate he eats it. The color of the vomit is mostly yellow or the color of the cat food. I’ve changed his cat food numerous of times to see which ones fit him the best because I didn’t know if he had an allergy issue with food. I am currently using IAMS cat food and it has worked for a while, but he keeps vomiting. I haven’t seen any blood or black vomit from gizmo it’s just mostly yellow or the color of the cat food and his abdomen area is enlarged while the rest of him is skinny even his tail.

I'm sorry to hear about the issues Gizmo is experiencing. The symptoms you've described, such as frequent vomiting, lethargy, weight loss, and an enlarged abdomen, are certainly concerning. Let's explore some possibilities and suggestions to help you address these issues.

Firstly, the yellow color of Gizmo's vomit often indicates bile, which can occur when the stomach is empty or due to gastrointestinal problems. The combination of an enlarged abdomen and weight loss might suggest conditions such as liver disease, pancreatitis, or even a gastrointestinal blockage. Additionally, fleas can contribute to anemia or other health issues, potentially worsening his condition.

Regarding his diet, since you've tried changing foods, it's important to ensure that Gizmo is on a high-quality, easily digestible diet. Sometimes, a prescription diet recommended by a veterinarian can be beneficial in managing gastrointestinal issues.

At home, it's crucial to monitor his hydration. Make sure he has access to fresh water at all times and consider offering wet food to help increase his fluid intake. Also, keep a close eye on his flea situation and continue using flea preventatives as advised by your vet.

Given the ongoing nature of these symptoms and the presence of multiple issues, I strongly recommend scheduling a visit to the veterinarian. They can perform diagnostic tests, such as blood work or imaging, to determine the underlying cause and provide appropriate treatment.

Addressing these symptoms promptly is important for Gizmo's comfort and health. If you have any further questions or need additional guidance, please feel free to reach out. Thank you.
