Common causes include benign growths like lipomas (fatty tumors), cysts, or more concerning conditions such as infections, abscesses, or even tumors.

Since the bump has been growing over the past 30 days, it's important to monitor it closely.

Firstly, keep track of any changes in the size, shape, or color of the bump. Also, note if it becomes painful or if your dog starts licking or scratching it excessively.

Secondly, look for any other symptoms such as lethargy, loss of appetite, or changes in behavior. These could indicate a more serious underlying issue.

Additionally, ensure the area around the bump is clean. You can gently clean it with a mild antiseptic solution to prevent any potential infection.

It's also important to avoid applying any over-the-counter creams or medications without consulting a veterinarian, as this could potentially worsen the condition.

Given the duration and the fact that the bump is growing, it would be wise to have it examined by a veterinarian. They can perform a physical examination and may recommend further diagnostics such as a fine needle aspirate or biopsy to determine the nature of the bump and the appropriate treatment.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
