You can also apply a cold compress to the swollen area to help reduce the swelling and provide some relief.

If you suspect an allergic reaction, you might consider giving an antihistamine like Benadryl (diphenhydramine). The typical dosage is 1 mg per pound of body weight, but it's crucial to consult with a veterinarian before administering any medication.

Additionally, keep an eye out for other symptoms such as vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, or difficulty breathing. These could indicate a more severe reaction that requires immediate veterinary attention.
