Sassy started licking all 4 paws and certain areas of her legs to the point they are raw and constantly bleeding. It’s gotten much worse over the last week and has an awful yeast type smell. Shes hurting because she can’t walk at all, she never gets off her bed, we have to help her outside to use the bathroom but she does still eat and drink, we keep it right next to her so she doesn’t have to walk as much.

It sounds like Sassy is dealing with a severe skin condition, likely a yeast infection, given her symptoms of a bad smell, redness, and excessive licking that has led to raw and bleeding areas. Yeast infections can be quite uncomfortable and may worsen if not properly managed. Here are some steps you can take at home to help alleviate her condition:
Firstly, it's important to keep the affected areas clean and dry. You can gently clean these areas with a mild antiseptic solution and ensure they are thoroughly dried, as moisture can make yeast infections worse.
Next, consider using an antifungal shampoo specifically designed for dogs. Bathing Sassy with a shampoo containing ingredients like ketoconazole or chlorhexidine can help manage the infection.
To prevent further licking, you might want to use an Elizabethan collar, commonly known as a cone, to stop Sassy from aggravating the affected areas.
In terms of dietary support, incorporating omega-3 fatty acids into her diet can improve skin health. If allergies are suspected, a hypoallergenic diet might also be beneficial.
It's crucial to monitor her condition closely. If you notice any worsening of symptoms or if she continues to be lethargic and unable to walk, it is essential to seek veterinary care promptly.
Given the severity of her symptoms and the impact on her mobility, I strongly recommend consulting a veterinarian as soon as possible. They can provide a more targeted treatment plan, possibly including prescription medications, to help Sassy recover. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
