The symptoms can be caused by insect bites or stings, dental problems, infections, trauma, allergic reactions, and more.

Since the swelling has been present for a day and is not ongoing, you can monitor her closely for any changes. Please understand that it is difficult to tell the exact condition and cause of Truffle's condition from the photos.

Applying a cold compress to the swollen area for short periods (10-15 minutes) can help reduce the swelling. And keep an eye out for any changes in her eating or drinking habits, lethargy, or signs of pain.
Gently check her mouth for any signs of dental issues, such as bad breath, loose teeth, or visible abscesses.

If the swelling persists, worsens, or if she shows signs of pain or other symptoms, it would be best to take her to a vet for a thorough examination. They can provide a more accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
