Hi so recently found this cat outside I believe he may have been hit by a car I found him laying in the middle of the street . I haven’t been able to take him to the vet because I cannot afford it . Any recommendations??? For his eye and digestive health . He’s thrown up once that I know of and his farts are pretty bad .

I'm truly sorry to hear about your kitten's condition. Given the symptoms and the possibility that he might have been hit by a car, it's essential to get him to a veterinarian as soon as possible. Eye issues such as holding the eye closed, squinting, redness, and discharge can indicate infections, injuries, or other serious conditions that require professional treatment.

In the meantime, you can gently wipe away any discharge from his eye with a warm, damp cloth. It's important to prevent him from rubbing or scratching at his eye, as this could worsen the condition. You might also try flushing the eye with a sterile saline solution to help keep it clean.

Regarding his digestive health, symptoms like vomiting, diarrhea, and weight loss are particularly concerning, especially in a young kitten. These issues could be due to stress, dietary changes, parasites, or more serious underlying conditions. Make sure he stays hydrated by offering small amounts of water frequently. You can also try feeding him a bland diet, such as boiled chicken and rice, to see if that helps settle his stomach.

Given the severity of his symptoms and the potential for serious injury, I strongly recommend finding a way to get him to a veterinarian. Many vets offer payment plans or can refer you to low-cost clinics. His health and well-being are paramount, and professional care is essential in this situation.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask. Thank you.
