Hello. Thank you for using our service.
If your older cat seems hyperactive and lacks attention despite his advanced age, he may have hyperthyroidism. Hyperthyroidism is one of the most common diseases in older cats. Excessive thyroxine causes excessive metabolism and adversely affects the body. It can cause him to have increased fluid intake, urination, appetite, and vomiting. The hair may become rough, and an increase in the number of livers may occur. If it lasts for a long time, it may cause heart disease. His bloody vomit means he may have gastritis or esophageal disease. Treatment for thyroid issues and vomiting is recommended. Please make an appointment with your veterinarian. thank you.
