It is possible that your dog may have ingested something that is causing her to feel unwell. The swaying, lethargy, dizziness, and loss of balance could be indicative of a toxic substance or an adverse reaction to something she ate.

There are several potential causes for these symptoms. One possibility is that your dog may have ingested a toxic substance such as a household chemical, medication, or a poisonous plant. Another possibility is that she may have eaten something that is causing an obstruction in her digestive system, leading to discomfort and imbalance. Additionally, certain infections or neurological conditions could also result in similar symptoms.

Before taking your dog to the hospital, there are a few things you can do at home to help her. First, ensure that she is in a safe and quiet environment, away from any potential hazards. Offer her fresh water and monitor her closely for any changes in her condition. If she is willing to eat, you can offer a small amount of a bland diet such as boiled chicken and rice to see if she shows any interest. However, if she refuses to eat or drink, it is important to avoid forcing her as it may worsen her symptoms.

It is crucial to be aware of any additional symptomatic situations that may require immediate veterinary attention. If your dog experiences any of the following, it is recommended to take her to the hospital right away:

1. Severe or worsening symptoms: If her condition deteriorates rapidly or if she shows signs of distress such as difficulty breathing, seizures, or collapse, it is important to seek immediate veterinary care.

2. Persistent vomiting or diarrhea: If your dog starts vomiting or having diarrhea, especially if it is frequent or contains blood, it could indicate a more serious underlying issue that requires medical attention.

3. Abdominal pain or bloating: If she shows signs of abdominal discomfort, such as restlessness, pacing, or a distended abdomen, it could suggest a potential obstruction or gastrointestinal issue that needs to be addressed promptly.

Her loss of balance could be the result of a number of issues, so I would recommend taking her to the doctor if possible to determine the exact cause.
