Royal flew off my shoulder and flew into wet candle wax.

Royal now has candle wax all over his feather. It’s not thick enough to peel off and he doesn’t sit still at all. I’m not sure how to remove it from all his feathers and not stress him out really badly.
What is the best way to remove dried wax off his feathers?

Hello, first of all, I'm sorry for the late reply. First, it is recommended that you melt the candle wax. Melt the candle wax thoroughly using a dryer. After that, use cooking oil or olive oil to remove the wax from your bird's feathers.
After removing all the wax, wash with warm water. If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask.
