right on her back where her tail meets is scabby and loosing hair, she’s had it for awhile and it doesn’t seem to bother her so i’m not sure if i should be worried

It sounds like your cat is experiencing some discomfort with scabbing and hair loss on her back, particularly where the tail meets. This can be due to several factors, such as flea allergies, skin infections, or even stress-related over-grooming. Given that this issue has persisted for about eight weeks and your cat is also sneezing, there are a few important steps to consider.
Firstly, it's crucial to ensure that your cat is on a regular flea prevention program. Flea allergies are a common cause of skin problems in cats, and fleas can sometimes be present even if you don't see them. If your cat isn't already on a flea prevention treatment, it might be beneficial to start one.
For the scabbing and hair loss, you can gently clean the affected area with a mild antiseptic solution to help prevent any potential infection. Be cautious not to use human antiseptics, as they can be too harsh for cats. Keep an eye on the area for any signs of redness, swelling, or discharge, which could indicate an infection.
As for the sneezing, it might be unrelated, but it's important to monitor it. If the sneezing continues or is accompanied by other symptoms like nasal discharge or coughing, it may require further investigation.
Since this condition has been ongoing, if you don't notice any improvement with flea prevention and gentle cleaning, or if the sneezing becomes more severe, it would be wise to consult a veterinarian. They can conduct a thorough examination and recommend specific treatments if necessary.
If you have any more questions or need further assistance, please feel free to reach out. Thank you.
